DIY Colored Twine

Have you seen this stuff around?  Have you seen people making their own?  I saw this tutorial several months ago, so it's been on my to do list for a little while.  When I won a Michael's gift card from Sarah at EmmyLouBeeDoo, I bought some crochet thread and markers (plus the paper I used in my dollhouse!)
I cut a piece of cardboard to wrap my twine around and then colored it up.  Taping the ends is a must!

Be sure to watch for it showing up on some cards or something soon.  So what do you think I should use it on first?

  2. The first thing you should do is bake me a dozen cupcakes, place them in a box and tie the box with this great twine, and send it to me - - great idea and I will be making some, too!
