Pinwheels for Gifts

This week’s file for the DtsArt team is a set of pinwheels–aren’t they cute?
The one with the stars would be perfect for your 4th of July parade or picnic.  But they’re not just for blowing in the wind any more.  You can find them in banners, wreaths, cards, and in my post today, as a gift topper.

I cut the pinwheel out of patterned paper and pink cardstock and layered them to get the two sided effect.  I glued all the ends together before putting a brad down the middle, so that the points wouldn’t slide around out of place.  For the center, I used the circle and swirl and layered them right on the brad.
