Emily’s Baptism

Emily’s baptism on Saturday was great.  She was just beaming, and so happy.  We were even lucky enough to have my parents and one of my sisters travel out here to spend the weekend with us.  It kind of stinks to be so far away from family sometimes.  But since so many people weren’t able to attend, here are a couple of pictures of the day.

I bought her a new white towel and sewed her initial on it and attached a poem from the Idea Door.

I also cut out this cute little box and filled it with treats that had different sayings on them.  The “you’re Sweet” stamps are from My Thoughts Exactly.

Here’s the full list in case you want to do the same.

I also did a little display on the table by the door.  You can’t see it great in the picture, but the pink card on the left is one I printed out from Oopsey Daisy.  The flowers are fake, but were such a pretty color–even pinker than in this picture.  And the vase is a small jar that I painted inside with white paint.

We sure are proud of her and glad she’s part of our family!
