Disneyland Water Bottles

It’s no secret that buying stuff inside an amusement part can get pretty pricey.  It’s also no secret that it will be pretty warm at Disneyland in July.  So along with packing some snacks each day, we’ll be sure to bring our own water bottles to fill up.

I bought these bottles at WalMart for just 98 cents each (and they even had blue and pink caps!)  I loved that they were cheap, and actually not too big–they won’t get heavy for the kids to carry around in their little backpacks they’ll have, and we’ll be filling them up often, keeping the water fresher anyway.

Using Design Space I welded 3 circles together to make a Mickey head and cut those from black vinyl at 2.2 inches tall.

Then I cut everyone’s names from colored vinyl and stuck them on to each head shape.  Then I transferred the layered vinyl to the water bottle.

I’ll just be hand washing these, and will make sure to not scratch at the vinyl.  I’ve heard that outdoor vinyl actually does ok in the dishwasher, but I’ve never tried it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Disney Week.  I know I enjoyed making all these things to get us ready for our trip!  Have a great weekend, and if you’ve liked what I’ve been posting this week, you definitely need to come back on Monday!
