The Nester. I decided to focus on trying to be a better mom, and you can see my first post here.
Day 30: Patience
If I just had more patience, lots of the other things I've worked on during the month would come a little easier. But at the same time, it's hard to just say "Today I will be more patient." It needs the specific choices of "I will not yell, I will listen when my kids talk to me, I will provide learning opportunities and ways to keep them busy, I will treat them kindly." Patience is the blanket attribute that makes all of those things possible.
What do you think--which comes first? Having patience, or doing all those other things? Do they have to just come together? How do you make sure you're being patient with your kids?
