Lacy Vinyl Jar

Some time ago I painted the inside of this jar with blue paint and I love the color.

It seemed like it needed a little something extra lately though so I busted out the vinyl.   It was so easy too!  I just found a border file that I liked, sized it so it would fit all the way around my jar and cut it out.

Then I wrapped it around the jar and did my best to line up the ends--but it's in the back to it didn't have to be perfect.

Do you have any jars around your house that could use a little vinyl touch?

  1. I would LOVE it if you shared this in my Spring/Easter Linky Party! You can find it here: http://littlemomprairie.blogspot.com/p/blog-round-up.html

  2. I usually wrap my jars with watsi tape. I love your idea with the nice vinyl touch. Painting the inside is a very good idea. What should we do with the edge? I'm looking forward to an idea for this part of the jar.

  3. So pretty! This dresses up the jar very nicely.

  4. What a great idea! I'm following you via GFC. I host Fluster Creative Muster Party on Wednesdays and I would love it if you would come by and party with us. Hope to see you there!

    Hugs, Smiles, and Blessings,

    Fluster Buster

  5. Very cute after. Love the flowers too.

  6. Love this! I'd like to invite you to link up to Saturday Spotlight @ Angels Homestead.

Hope to see you there :)

  7. What kind of paint and what brand and the name of the color you used. I love that blue color also?

  8. super cute! love the simplicity of this! ♥ happy Sunday!

  9. How pretty! I'm looking forward to trying to paint the inside of some mason jars this spring. One question... Do you find that the paint doesn't chip or did you coat it with something before finishing it?

    Thanks for sharing!
