Point of View --Tabletop

Now that Halloween is over, have you started thinking about your Thanksgiving table?  I love finding simple ways to dress up the table.  We're already putting so much energy into the food, right?

Acorns, pumpkins and leaves all make an appearance here. Check out each link for details.
Me...Acorn Napkin Rings

I'm adding some blue into my Thanksgiving table, so I painted some acorns this lovely turquoise color.  To make the napkin ring, cut a piece of paper towel tube about 2 1/2 inches tall and wrap twine or jute all the way around it, securing inside with hot glue in a few places.  Glue the painted acorn right on top and slide over a napkin.

I painted some gold too, but decided that a single acorn looked better on the ring than two did.

We'd also love to see your tablescape posts...new or old posts, link 'em up here!

  1. Love the acorn napkin holders! Super cute and the teal accent really pops!

  2. Love these so much! I'm a nut for acorn stuff right now. Thanks for sharing at the Pinworthy Project Party. I linked up my fun placemats from earlier this week too!
