Suitcase Invitations

{Patterned cardstock turns into adorable mini suitcase invitations, great for any travel themed party}

(the part where I tell you I sometimes use affiliate links in my post)

 I’m helping with an event at church for the teenage girls (New Beginnings) and while making the suitcase invitations decided I should share them with you too.  You never know when a suitcase invitation will come in handy, right?

Start with patterned carstock cut to 3.75 x 5.5 inches.

Print your information on regular printer paper so it can be cut to 2.5 x 5 inches (you’ll get 4 on each sheet)

The straps are 2.75 x .25 inches and the suitcase handles are actually a “squarish” O that I cut with my Cricut Machine  then cut in half.  (You could also cut the handles by hand)

Fold cardstock and printer paper in half.

Round the corners of the folded cardstock–this can be done with regular scissors, but look, I found a use for those crazy-edge scissors I got years and years ago!

I already had the rectangles cut, or I could have done this with the Cricut too

Glue handles and straps to suitcase.

Glue information inside.

Tada!  Cute little paper suitcases.

What are some fun ways you could use little suitcase cards?
