Date Night Gift Basket for Valentine’s Day

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

With Valentine’s Day coming up this Friday, here’s a creative gift for your honey.  Maybe you’re like us and don’t plan on spending a lot of money on Valentine’s gifts, but it’s always fun to do a little something special. Make a date night gift basket and let him know you love him all the time!

I chose things that would make a fun date night in with a blanket, boxes of candy, a boxed set of K-Y Date Night(which also includes $40 worth of codes for a Vudu movie and a Plated dinner We can stream a movie and get ingredients delivered right to our door for making a gourmet meal!) I easily picked up all these items at Walmart while running errands.

Then I wrapped each one individually and added a tag.  I just wrote in the time of day that he should open each one.  This would also be really cute to use on a birthday or anniversary–like for a 12th anniversary, give each tag the time of 9:12 then 10:12 then 11:12, etc.

Create a similar basket by printing out these tags and write in the time of day each item should be opened. (Click to download tags)  I actually designed these tags on my phone using the Rhonna Designs app, then emailed the image to myself.  Pretty fun!

I included a card as well with a handwritten message written inside. (Click to download cardThe best thing about this gift is you can customize it anyway you want.  The tags tie the whole thing together.

Do you like the idea of assigned times to open gifts during the day?  And are you a stay-in or go-out kind of couple?
