 I'm helping with an event at church for the teenage girls (New Beginnings) and while making the suitcase invitations decided I should share them with you too.  You never know when a suitcase invitation will come in handy, right?

January So Far

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like 2014 kind of hit the ground running.  We had a couple of lazy days before school started back up, but now we're back into all our routines, I'm back to ticking things off my to-do list, and somehow it keep getting longer.

I've been doing ok at keeping up with blogging and some projects, though it seems like my wish list always extends passed my time and energy.

Say No to Auto Video Workshop Review and Giveaway

{Kristen Duke has turned her e-book, Say No to Auto into a beginner workshop online video so you can learn at home how to get the most out of your camera}

If I were to guess, I'd say there are a few of you out there who just got a nice fancy camera for Christmas.  And I'd say there are even more of you who currently have a nice camera that you just aren't sure how to use exactly.

DIY Index Dividers with Washi Tape

{Cute index dividers for your binders to keep you organized and happy}
DIY Index Dividers | Crafting in the Rain

I was recently creating a binder to organize all kinds of projects, ideas and responsibilities, but had no dividers. Plus, I didn't really want to spend money on them, and I've never really loved the plastic slide in tabs either.  So I figured I'd just make some instead!  A whole set comes together in just minutes.

2014 Word: STRENGTHEN

Happy New Year everybody!  Are you just waking up?  Did you turn in early (like us) because who wants to deal with too-tired kids who won't sleep in? :)  We still get to be on vacation for a bit since school doesn't start up until the 6th, but we've already busted out some homework, and I think un-decorating will happen soon too.

But look at this good-looking bunch I got to spend Christmas with!

Now that our fabulous holiday with family is done, it's time to start looking ahead.  Thanks to Ali Edwards, I have chosen "One Little Word" to represent the focus of the last few years.
