I don't know about you, but anything that involves chocolate makes a good gift in my book. A cute presentation is a bonus and I'm going to show you how easy it is to make a flower and chocolate bouquet that's perfect for a mom, sister or friend on Mother's Day.

10 Things I Learned from SNAP That Have Nothing to do with Blogging

This last week I spent 4 days in Salt Lake with hundreds of creative and talented women at SNAP conference. If you've read some of my last posts, or follow me on Instagram, you saw some of the fun ways I was getting ready for it. Like my glitter tote or 80's prom dress.

I may still write up a recap of all the great blogging information I gathered while I was there, but I wanted to start out by sharing some things that relate to EVERYONE, not just bloggers.

So I give you my top 10 things to learn from a blogging conference that really just relate to life.

Project Kid: 100 Ingenious Crafts for Family Fun

I received a book to review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

We love creating here in our house, and sometimes it's helpful to have a good list of ideas to inspire us.

When given the opportunity to check out Project Kid: 100 Ingenious Crafts for Family Fun, I was was pretty sure we'd all love it.

Glitter Bottomed Canvas Tote

So blogging is kind of a funny thing. It can take regular (and sometimes very normally shy and reserved people) and turn them into "Look-at-Me's" who will post everything from what they ate for breakfast to how they decorated their bedroom or the inside of their fridge to the inside of their head.

It will even get some of them to dress up in wacky 80's gear for a prom-themed party. I in fact will be wearing a dress I pieced together with pink and orange taffeta from the thrift store exactly 1 week from today at such a party :) And I can't wait.

Along this same theme, I decided to make myself a bag to take to SNAP that has my own blog title on it. That way everyone will know who I am. Or at least my bag can be returned to me when I lose it or something.

We just finished our Spring Break, but it's never too early to dream about summer, so I'm partnering with Dollar Tree and showing off their new summer products. Some links are affiliate.

Dollar Tree Summer Fun is a collection of brightly colored party supplies, toys, and table ware to help you kick off all your summer celebrations. These would be perfect for a neighborhood BBQ, birthday, or picnic.

Date Night with Tony's Pizza

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Tony’s Pizza, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #tonyspizzeria http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

We had our Spring Break this last week and we just hung out at home, enjoying the welcomed sun at a few different parks, trips to the library and science museum. We even managed to have a little date night at home, with the kids around!

I started out by giving this card to my husband in the morning (print your own) that says I ♥ U MORE THAN {pizza} and on the inside I wrote an invitation for him to have dinner with me that night.

Easy Glitter Notebook

In just a couple of weeks I'm heading to SNAP in Utah--a blog conference for creative bloggers. So I've been working on getting a few things ready (like an outfit for the 80's prom party and little gifts for my secret sister) It's seriously going to be so much fun.

Kreation Krate Review

I was sent a Kreation Krate box to review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Everybody loves getting packages in the mail. But a package full of craft supplies? Even better! I love the idea behind Kreation Krate, where everything is included for the start to finish of a whole craft project.

I got to try out one of the boxes, and made these cute little herb planters. They even sent little dirt pods and seeds!

So Many Good Posts!

It's Spring Break here! And there's some sun in our forecast! Best possible combination :)

I'm at two different places today, and I wanted to be sure to send you over to check them out. I'm including little teaser shots too.

First up, I'm excited to announce that I'm on the creative team for See Vanessa Craft (who I met at SNAP a couple of years ago and she's so nice and talented) My first post there is a free cutting file to make paper Easter baskets. So many uses for these!

Yellow Tshirt Headband

I wrote this t-shirt headband tutorial for The Girl Creative last month, but if you missed, here it is again. Today you'll find me there again with some painted Rainbow art to celebrate National Find a Rainbow Day.

You've probably seen different versions of t-shirt headbands. Probably even made some too!

Make Baking Sheets Shiny Again

Raise your hand if you have cookie sheets that look a little worse for wear. Have you seen a couple of different methods to get them looking like new? Mine were awful, and I'd tried a couple of different Pinterest-proved ways to get them shiny again, but they didn't work.  I had to make up my own.  So easy--shiny baking sheets will be yours again!

You just need mustard (for the acid) maple syrup (for the sugar) and salt ('cause it's grainy)
