Denim Canvas for 4th of July

Have you guys seen all the fun denim supplies hitting your local craft stores? I decided to use some for the Ultimate Red White & Blue blog hop hosted by Abbey from The Cards We Drew. There are nearly 100 ideas to check out here that will have you feeling patriotic in no time!

You’ll need:
Small denim canvases (I bought a 4-pack)
Red paint
White paint
Mod Podge
Brush
Vinyl
Cricut

The first step it to cut out the vinyl stencils.

Position the stencil down on the canvas. To try to keep the lines a little cleaner (since the denim has texture it’s a little tricky,) paint the edges with some Mod Podge to try to seal the line. Then paint with red and white paint. It will take two coats to show up well.

Remove the vinyl. Then add some rhinestones/ sticky back gems for a true bedazzled 90’s throwback. What do you think? Cute and easy!

Now share the love and visit some of the other great Red, White and Blue crafts below.

And you can also see my Pretzel Butterflies and the whole collection from last year.
