Breakfast Solutions and School Routines

So how’s everyone doing with their new school routines? It’s been a crazy few weeks full of firsts around here. Emily started middle school. Meagan and Asher are at a new elementary school since we moved. Steve started teaching early morning seminary (high-school aged church class held before school every day.) And I started my online classes for my web design degree. As you can imagine, I’m looking for ways to make life easier for all of everyone, including me!

Starting with breakfast, Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissants are an easy way to start the day out with tasty protein. A bowl of yogurt or a handful off grapes, and my kids are ready to head to school.

Then after school, I can cook up a State Fair® Corn Dog to power them through homework and music practice. These days, I’m sitting there doing my own homework right along with them!

Pick them both up the next time you’re at Walmart.

There are a few things the kids need to get done in the morning to make sure things run smoothly around here. But now that they’re a little older, I don’t want to be following them around all the time checking in on them. So we talked about what’s important for them to get done and then of course turned it into a cute chart!

Supplies:
Clipboard
Dry erase vinyl
Colored vinyl
Window cling vinyl
Transfer tape

Cut out dry erase vinyl to fit on the clipboard.

Cut out DO, DONE and chores, and any decoration.

Apply to the clipboard and hang.

I left space at the bottom to use a dry erase marker to write in extra reminders when we need to.

Great idea! I love that it can be written on and reused again. Oh, and that corn dog with dip looks delicious. Thanks for sharing! #client
