Must Have Cricut Tools and Accessories

Some links are affiliate

By now I’m sure you know what a great crafting machine the Cricut is. You’ve seen me rave about it, you’ve seen others rave about it, and maybe you have your own that you love too! Did you know there are also tool sets and accessories that can make your projects even easier and take them to the next level? This post is all about Cricut tool sets and what you can do with them.

First up is the Cricut® Tools Basic Set

• Tweezers to lift and secure delicate material

• Weeder to remove tiny negative cuts

• Micro-tip scissors with protective blade cover

• Spatula to lift cuts from the mat

• Scraper to burnish material and clean all cutting mats

• Interchangeable end caps to customize colors

Then we have the more extensive Cricut® Essential Tool Set, Mint (other colors too)

• Tweezers to lift and secure delicate material

• Weeder to remove tiny negative cuts

• Scissors with protective blade cover

• Spatula to lift cuts from the mat

• Scraper to burnish material and clean all cutting mats

• Scoring stylus to add fold lines to cards and envelopes

• High-quality trimmer for materials up to 12″ wide

• Replacement blade for the trimmer, and scoring blade

And finally the Paper Crafting Set

• 4-piece set ideal for beautiful paper creations, including card making, scrapbooking, party, home décor, and much more

• Piercer allows accurate placement of fine cuts and embellishments

• Quilling Tool makes smooth, tight, decorative spirals

• Edge Distresser creates textured edge effect on paper

• Craft Mat features multi-use piercing and self-healing surfaces

Here are some of these tools in action. The weeder has a sharp hook on it to pick up small pieces of vinyl like this. “Weeding” is just the term for removing the extra pieces of vinyl that aren’t part of the design.

The spatula is great for lifting paper pieces off the mat without damaging them at all.

The tweezers can hold onto small items while you glue them, or whatever, and then they open up when you pinch them.

The scoring tool goes into the “A holder” of your machine and makes score lines for folding boxes and cards.

Paper Backpacks

If you or someone you know is doing any wedding planning soon, use your Cricut! A couple of favorite things I have done are this As You Wish pitcher (you know, for the Princess Bride fans)

A banner for a birdcage wedding card holder

and a collection of signs I made that went on the dessert table. Next to each type of cookie platter, there was a sign that said “Bride’s Favorite” or “Mother of the Groom’s Favorite” etc. It was really cute!

Did you learn something new about Cricut tool sets? I hope so! Did I leave out your favorite way to use one of these tools? Let me know in a comment!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.
